Our Mission

Free, comprehensive cannabis information for Canada — no product sales, no dispensary affiliations, just facts.

Why CannabisCanada.org Exists

Canada made history on October 17, 2018, becoming the first G7 nation to legalize recreational cannabis. Seven years later, the legal market has grown to C$5.5 billion in annual sales with 3,761 licensed stores across all 13 provinces and territories. But finding reliable, comprehensive, and non-commercial information about Canadian cannabis law, provincial rules, dispensaries, and tourism in one place has never been easy.

CannabisCanada.org fills that gap. We're a free educational resource that brings together everything you need to know about cannabis in Canada — from federal law and province-by-province rules to finding dispensaries, visitor guides, and cannabis culture.

What We Cover

  • Canadian cannabis law — Federal framework, Cannabis Act, possession limits, consumption rules, DUI laws, border rules, and penalties
  • Province-by-province guides — All 13 provinces and territories with specific rules, stores, and tourism
  • Visitor guides — Tourism information, border warnings, accommodations, tours, and practical tips
  • Dispensaries — How to find stores, apps, online ordering, pricing, and brands
  • Culture — Legalization history, legacy market transition, events, Indigenous cannabis, and wellness tourism

What Makes Us Different

  • No product sales. We don't sell cannabis or cannabis products. We have no financial relationships with dispensaries or cannabis brands.
  • Official sources only. Our information comes from Health Canada, provincial regulators, Statistics Canada, and other official sources.
